Pancake day
I seem to have gave in and bought the black pinstripe Laura Ashley shirt I really liked. I also COMPLETELY broke my saving rules and bought a new moss green vintage coat and a black patent crocodile skin effect bag off Asos Marketplace (which I love at the moment!). Although it's getting warmer now, the coat isn't super thick so I've justified my spend and convinced myself it will be perfect for the following spring months. Naughty... but sensible.
Lately I've also been working very hard. After realising that I had done zilch productive of the half term break, I decided to embark on a essay spree to get myself up to date. I've wrote out my history research essay for my coursework and I've just finished an essay on the "Post-Stalin thaw" - all in the last 24 hours!
I've been listening to Bob Dylan's Together Through Life and The Beatles' Revolver album a lot while doing so which has helped me along the way. Its impossible to be unhappy while listening to those albums!
As today was pancake day I bought some pancakes at school and kept with the simple but delicious lemon and sugar tradition!
Now off to write my media essay on The Exorcist and watch the Brits - I wish I was there lots.
